Our Mission

The October Love Foundation exists to protect children living with life-threatening epilepsy and support the families who love them.

Through life-saving equipment, seizure safety training, advocacy, and direct family support, we work to reduce risk, improve safety, and ensure no family faces these moments alone.

Because no child should have to fight to breathe.
And no parent should have to live in fear every night.

How We Protect Children Living with Life-Threatening Epilepsy

Our Vision for the Future:

We are working toward creating a dedicated respite centre designed specifically for children and adults with epilepsy and their families.
This space will provide safe and medically-informed care, while also supporting the mental health and well-being of caregivers.
Caring for a medically fragile family member is constant, high-stakes, and often isolating.
This future space will aim to provide:
• Medically safe respite care
• Mental health and emotional support for caregivers
• A calm, restorative environment for families
• Support for long-term caregiver sustainability

Because protecting a loved one also means protecting the caregiver

This is the future we are building. Together.
